Paloma van den Akker is a designer who was born in the Netherlands, grew up in France and now resides in Mexico. Passionate about Yucatan and the local craftmanship, she decided to create PVDA, a line of handmade products and accessories for woman. All products are made with love by artisans from rural communities in the Peninsula, who work with traditional techniques, local and natural fibers such as henequen and jipijapa.
